Our Story
Primal Prey K9 Nutrition is proudly owned and operated by Bradley and Jessica—a duo driven by a shared love for dogs and a passion for giving them the healthiest life possible.
Our journey began in 2014 with a little English Staffy named Opey. Like any puppy parent, we were head over heels. But soon, Opey started developing persistent skin conditions—itching, rashes, and discomfort that no pet (or owner) should have to endure. After countless vet visits and being told he was “allergic to grass,” something didn’t sit right. He was on the grass daily—so why did the symptoms come and go?
That’s when we took matters into our own hands.
We dove deep into research and discovered the power of raw feeding. We knew medicating wasn’t the long-term answer. So we began experimenting with natural, species-appropriate nutrition. And the transformation was undeniable—Opey’s skin cleared, his energy returned, and he became the happy, healthy dog we knew he could be.
Encouraged by his results, we started sharing our homemade mixes with friends and family. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive—and Primal Prey was born.
Today, we’re proud to offer thoughtfully crafted raw meals designed to support your dog’s health from the inside out. At Primal Prey, we believe that feeding our canine companions should be as natural and nourishing as the love we give them.
We’re here not just to provide food—but to educate and empower pet owners with the knowledge and tools to help their dogs thrive through raw feeding.
Because a healthier dog is a happier dog—and that’s what we’re all about.
