Our Food is all natural, using only fresh locally produced products which are 100% preservative free with absolutely no by-products, fillers or artificial additives or flavours. It can be used as an all in one fed diet or used as a great kibble topper.
Making the transition
To make the transition easy on your pet, we see the best results by introducing our mixes gradually combined with their previous diet. Pets are creatures of habit and any sudden changes can upset them or put them off their food so it’s important to slowly introduce our mix.
Recommended Transition Process
Week 1:
3/4 Current Diet – 1/4 Primal Prey Mix
Week 2:
1/2 Current Diet – 1/2 Primal Prey Mix
Week 3:
3/4 Primal Prey Mix – 1/4 Current Diet
Week 4:
At this point if all is going well your dog should now be ready to have a complete Primal Prey meal.
Feeding Instructions
Recommended feeding amounts % of bodyweight guide
7-10 Weeks = 10%
10-16 Weeks = 8%
16-20 Weeks = 7%
20-24 Weeks = 6%
24-36 Weeks = 5%
36-56 Weeks = 4%
56-68 Weeks = 3%
68 Weeks + = 2.5%
Or alternatively you can feed 2.5 % of expected adult weight. These amounts are only a guide we recommend to regularly check your dogs body condition and feed accordingly.
Primal Prey is stored frozen. We recommend thawing out in the refrigerator and to use within 3 days once thawed.
